Break A Leg
So the rumor is Jared Padalecki broke his leg. The rumor stems from a post he seems to have made on X. This is the relevant part:
I have a broken leg. So I can’t drive. But, I can still eat. SO, I ordered some sushi using the
app, and it arrived…. But, only half of it arrived… So, my favor delivery driver went BACK to the restaurant (the other half of my order was still there), and tried to grab it to deliver it to me… He called his
bosses (he was on speakerphone, and the hostess at the restaurant heard every word of the conversation and recounted it to me) and they told him to NOT deliver the remainder of my order to me, even though I had already paid and tipped in full… he protested, but the “customer service” at
told him to leave it alone (even though the food was there… and paid for… and I was still anxiously and hungrily waiting for it…)
If it really was Jared Padalecki who posted this, I feel for him. Anyone who’s ever had a dinner order screwed up by bad service knows exactly how maddening it can be. (Pro tip, Favor: never mess with a hungry man. Especially if he’s seven feet tall.)
The Vegas convention is this weekend. Jared is supposed to be there. So was I, until various bits of life interfered with my plans (Who does life think it is, anyway?)
If you’re going to Vegas please, give Jared my sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery. I had my photo taken with him at a convention once. I asked for a hugging pose. His hip bone practically touched my shoulder. That’s a lot of leg to break.
